Many people fear writing their own ebook, they think:

They cant write an ebook or even if they write their own ebook guide no one will read their ebook let alone actually put their hand in their pocket and buy it.

There is an old saying "practice makes perfect" and its so very true with ebooks, the more you write your own ebooks they better they will get.

Some of the most popular ebook titles are recipes, parenting, and how to guides.

How to guides are always in demand, there is always someone searching on the internet for how to do a particular task.

And if you can provide a step by step how to guide on this subject you are on to a sure fire great selling ebook.

So what kind of how to ebook guides are people looking for?

Well if you take a look on ebay for "how to ebook" you will find:

How to Play the Guitar
How to Attract Women
How to Invest in Real Estate
How to Repair Bad Credit
How to stop smoking
How to lose weight
How to fish
How to make bath bombs
How to make lip gloss
etc etc etc

And 1000s of people buy these ebooks everyday and remember its not just other ebook sellers who are buying these ebooks its ACTUAL people who want just the contents of the ebook.

They want to know how to do a certain task and YOU are going to show them how to!

We all know how to do something, whether its how to cure nappy rash, how to stop biting your nails, how to get the job you always wanted, how to get the perfect sun tan etc etc etc.

There are still millions of how to guides that have never been written but there will be a high demand for it.

Sit in a quiet room. with a simple pad and a pencil, and write down all the things you can do, maybe you know...

Can you see there are millions of how to possible ebooks out there, and I bet you have a lot of how to ebooks sitting in your mind right now.

If you have a special knack or talent, write it in an ebook, remember this ebook is going to be unique and original, you will be the only one selling it so you can charge a good price and make a killer profit.

Now if you really really REALLY cant think of anything you can teach someone how to do you can always research a subject.

Imagine you wrote an ebook "How to snag a Footballer and become a Footballer's Wife" how many girls out there would buy that ebook?????

Millions of girls all over the world are desparate to become footballers wives!

Ok so you dont necessarily know how to snag a footballer do you, ( or DO YOU??? ) but there is lots of things you could include in this ebook, you could find out where famous footballers frequent ie the local pubs, clubs and nightclubs, whatare thier favourite restaurants, you could research how other footballers wives met their husbands.

So long as your ebook includes lots of great useful information buyers will be happy with it.

Now one of the best ways you can make a how to guide is to include step by step images along with your text. If someone is just reading pages and pages of information, one they will get bored, two they can still get confused.

So if you include images, photos or screenshots at each step, you will make your how to ebook guide IDIOT Proof, the ultimate guide for dummies!

You dont want to sell an ebook on how to pluck the perfect eyebrows, and then the buyer ask for a refund because they can follow your steps because they dont understand what you mean in the steps of your ebook.

You HAVE to make your ebook how to guide SIMPLE to follow.

My favourite little program for this is SCREENSHOT, when I am writing ebook guides for online related material ie. inserting paypal buttons on ebooks sales pages, I take snap shot images, kind of like taking a photograph of my computer screen, and then I put these images inside my ebook. Then I convert the ebook to pdf format and I have an easy to follow guide.

At each step of the ebook I include a screenshot or image, which clearly shows what has to be done at each stage of the how to ebook guide.

It doesnt cost much and its absolutely, positively, definately one of the best purchases I have ever made for writing how to guide ebooks and I have used it thousands of times.

So now take some time out, see what ideas you can come up with for a how to ebook guide, do some research, get lots of simple to follow images, and get writing your soon to be fast selling very own how to ebook.

Remember you can add a link(s) in your finished ebook to your ebay shop, to your ebook website, to relevant affiliate programs and make even more profits.

Or perhaps you currently have a website related to a certain topic ie. dog grooming, write an ebook with say 10 tips on how to groom your dog, convert it to an ebook, sell it or even give it way free, so long as you link back to your website, you will get traffic each time someone reads your ebook. You could even use it as a bonus to get signups to your website, there are so many valid reasons as to why you need to write your own ebooks.

So go on, what you waiting for, get writing!

When you have an eBay shop Im sure you know the importance of diverting lots of traffic or buyers to it.

There is no point having an eBay shop that no one ever visits.

Ok, its great to have an eBay shop because you get the lower listings fees but you know that these lower listing fees come at a price, your shop items dont get as much exposure or promotion as normal ebay listings, hence the low cost.

Thats why you have to work hard to get potential buyers to your ebay store where they can see all your other items.

listings removed or suspended from ebay

I guess I had to make a post about this, having your listings removed from ebay or worst of the worst... being suspended from ebay.

I have been speaking to several high volume ebay ebook sellers lately, all saying the same, except a select few (hmmmm), that they are having their ebay items removed for breach of copyright or for illegal copies.

Well, what a lot of crap!

Ebay knows we all have resell rights, we check before we sell the ebooks yes?

Ofcourse we do.

We even put text in our listings saying words to the effect of...

I am an authorised reseller

I am the copyright owner

This ebook is in the public domain

I can provide proof of my authority to resell this item

This listing does not breach any downloadable media policy

etc etc ETC ETC ETCccccccccccccccc zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz snore!

Fact : Ebay dont care what you put in your listing

Fact: Ebay will pull your listing

Fact: Guilty until proven innocent

Fact: eBay will apologise, and re-instate your item

What can you do?

Well if you are the copyright owner you can contact vero and fax off your ebook details.

If you are a reseller you can forward a copy of your resell rights license to ebay or vero.

What you cant do:

Relist the item until ebay have told you to do so

Sell under a different ebay user id

Register another ebay account while suspended

My advice if you get a listing removed:

Contact ebay ONCE, dont email them 2,3,4 times, it only slows down the process, email them once and state that you have proof of ownership, or resell, and tell them you can forward them a copy.

My advice if you get suspended:

Again contact eBay ONCE, dont slow down the process, explain why you have been unfairly suspended, back up your case with specific details of why your listings were incorrectly removed, and why you should be reinstated.

I know you will be mad, pissed off even, have a burning pain of anger deep down in your belly!

But NEVER EVER EVER be rude to ebay, you need them more than they need you.

Be polite at all times, if they are talking rubbish, explain why their information is incorrect, dont rant and rave and look like some mad lunatic!

Be cool, calm and collected.

Your listings will be reinstated, your suspension will be lifted, and all will be well in the world of ebay.

Remember these things are sent to try us, and try as they might, they will not stop us selling ebooks on ebay.

So just smile and turn the other cheek to ebay

Posting on forums, why do it?

Posting on forums why should you do it?

Forums are on online resource where people cant post their:

opinions
seek help
give advice

etc etc

The great thing about forums is your forum signature.

You can have a link to your website, a link to your ebay shop
even a link to your ebay items for sale if you like.

So you can generate a lot of traffic and ideally get lots of sales.

So what type of forum should you join?

Well there are literally millions of forums on the internet, and most subjects are covered too.

There are forums set up for almost any subject you can think of.

Just because you sell ebooks doesn't mean you should limit yourself to only posting on ebook forums, if you have a particular favourite hobby or interest, for example say you love football or soccer, find a forum for that subject and just particpate like any other person would, but make sure you have your website or ebay shop etc etc included in your signature.

This means that everytime your post or comments gets viewed, there is a high possibility that people will be curious and visit your link.

Its a good idea to make your signature appealing, attention grabbing, and that will encourage people to visit your link.

If you are an expert on any type of subject, say, training a dog, sign up at some dog forums, give advice, help people, and again your signature will get lots of views.

Try and find the "hot" topics, the ones that get the most views, the ones that have had the most replies.

If the forum has a freebie section, give something away for free to visitors to your website and add a post in that section about your freebie.

Many times a forum will have an advertise your product or website, make sure you put an interesting post about your product or website.

Doing this will increase traffic to your website or whichever page you use a signature.

If you are a newbie to forums then I recommend that you visit one of these forums, if not both, they are both run by very friendly people, and the forum members are very friendly too and always happy to give you advice if you ask.

Both these forums are ebay related, so if you have a problem with anything on ebay you are sure to find a solution posted on hereand if you are an ebay expert they will LOVE you!

One thing to remember, forums and their members HATE spammers, so dont just join forums and start posting links here, there, and everywhere to your website.

A forum is an online community, like a group of friends, so treat them with the respect they deserve, plus if you do start spamming forums, you will more than likely receive a few choice words posted about you and get booted out the forum.

Visit the forums I have listed about, browse the topics, see if you can help anyone, or if you have a problem yourself ask for some advice.
